Job summary

Schwarze Industries, a member of Alamo Group, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across multiple facilities at the Huntsville, AL campus. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, team leadership, and coordinating repairs to ensure safe, efficient production.

The position requires experience with fabrication equipment, strong机械 aptitude, and the ability to manage budgets, vendors, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years in related maintenance field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for fabrication equipment.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely responses to breakdowns.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of campus facilities.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Safety teams to reduce downtime.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee external contractors.
• Ensure OSHA and related regulatory compliance for equipment safety.
• Monitor budgets and procure parts, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct regular inspections to address potential issues.
• Support capital improvement projects and facility upgrades.
• Provide daily/bidaily status updates on equipment progress.
• May assist other departments as needed.
