• B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong leadership ability with a track record in continuous improvement and team guidance.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing engineering/maintenance environment.
• 1-2 years’ experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Fundamental experience in project management.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment and multi-task in a dynamic setting.
• Able to collaborate with leaders from all functions.

• Direct Maintenance Technicians in daily duties and lead the team in continuous improvement within area of responsibility.
• Support and lead the team in cross-training and technician development efforts.
• Schedule, coordinate and lead TPM processes for area of responsibility.
• Delegate responsibilities during the absence of the Manager, Technical Services.
• Ensure all work complies with ISO 9000:2000 standards.
• Follow and comply with OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Adhere to IDEMIA Quality Policy.

Purpose

This role plans, designs and implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of production site facilities and equipment.

Key Missions

• Direct Maintenance Technicians in daily duties and lead the team in continuous improvement activities within area of responsibility
• Support and lead the team in cross-training and technician development efforts
• Schedule, coordinate and lead all Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes for area of responsibility
• Delegate responsibilities during the absence of the Manager, Technical Services
• Ensure all work is in compliance with ISO 9000:2000 standards
• Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Adhere to the IDEMIA Quality Policy

Profile & Other Information

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent education/experience
• Strong leadership ability is a must; must have demonstrated success in leading a team in continuous improvement efforts and daily tasks
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing engineering/maintenance environment
• 1-2 years’ experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Fundamental experience in project management
• Ability to support a positive work environment and encourage team building
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment
• Must be able to work effectively with leaders from all other functions and departments
• Working knowledge of PCs, Windows, Office, and Project
