Job summary

IDEMIA is seeking a production-oriented team member to join the assembly and processing of metal cards. The role focuses on meeting ISO specifications, maintaining safety standards, and achieving target volumes in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with metal card manufacturing, and a willingness to cross-train and train others. Overtime may be required to meet market demands in a global tech company.

Qualifications

  • Experience with metal card manufacturing, including hands-on operations.
  • Familiarity with ISO/QS quality systems and continuous improvement.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred to improve flow and reduce waste.
  • Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to train teammates and share process knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures and maintain 5S in the work area.
  • Set up, operate and monitor production processes to meet ISO specifications.
  • Meet or exceed monthly target volumes and quality standards.
  • Cross-train within the department to support flexible staffing.

Purpose

This role manages various production activities like assembly, material forming or shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc. to ensure production excellence and to meet established specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, quality standards and service-level agreements.

Key Missions
  • Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Adhere to the Idemia Quality Policy
  • Contributes to team success by meeting target volumes monthly
  • Must understand parts per hour or pieces per hour and demonstrate ability to count
  • Ability to set up, operate and produce product within ISO specifications while meeting machineexpectations provided by the Production Supervisor
  • Cross-training within the department is a must to create flexibility within the teams as described by the Production Supervisor
  • Must possess the ability to use various precision equipment, individual must have some experience with computers; attention to detail is imperative, along with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime during the week and weekends as business needs meet market demands
  • Maintain 5S activities for machines/area operated to include TPM tasks
  • Other roles and responsibilities may apply
Profile & Other Information
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills
    • Ability to work in a team based environment

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with metal card manufacturing (CNC, printing, hot stamp, lamination, mechanical punch equipment)
    • Experience in ISO/QS type quality systems
    • Lean manufacturing experience preferred
    • Basic knowledge of MS office applications
    • Ability to train others
