Base pay range

Maintenance Engineering Supervisor

100% Onsite – Wixom, MI

$90,000 – $100,000

Overview: Seeking Maintenance Engineering Supervisor with 6+ years of experience to lead maintenance operations, drive process improvements, and support lean manufacturing initiatives in a hands-on, onsite role.

Must Haves / Mandatory:

• 6+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and MS Office
• Experience in equipment specification, installation, and commissioning
• Project management and tooling/fixture design experience
• Experience with controls, drives, HMI’s, and PLCs

Nice to Have / Preferred:

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Experience with web handling, roll-to-roll web coating, or textile manufacturing
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Advanced expertise in controls, HMI, and PLCs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with extensive hands-on manufacturing experience
• Strong background in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Office, and project management
• Proven ability to design and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment
• Familiarity with agile development, safety standards, and lean manufacturing principles
• Skilled in working with PLCs, drives, and HMI systems

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and work alongside maintenance personnel to resolve safety and downtime issues while managing resources within budget
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and ensure equipment upkeep
• Collaborate cross-functionally in lean initiatives, product launches, and process improvements
• Analyze KPIs, manage external contractors, and support procurement and validation of new tools and equipment
