The Manager, Data Management supports all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting. The Manager, Data Management works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

The Manager, Data Management:

  • Supports implementation of government and industry policies for requirements management, document management, change management, production and delivery, and configuration management of the performance, functional, and physical baselines.
  • Acquires, validates, stores, protects, and processes required data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for its users.
  • Develops and executes architectures, policies, practices and procedures that properly manage the full data lifecycle needs of an enterprise.
  • Works with both internal partners as well as external vendors as well.

Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
  • 6 or more years of technical experience
  • 2 or more years of management experience with four or more direct reports
  • Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
  • Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment and can lead a team
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as Snowflake, databricks, or Azure Synapse Analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field
  • Healthcare or managed care experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$97,900 - $133,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
