Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for its Juneau, WI facility, a 24/7 operation producing spray dried yeast for food and BioNutrient applications.

You will lead a team of technicians and electricians, plan daily PMs, oversee projects, and manage inventory and budget while driving reliability improvements. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, operations, or engineering experience.
• Ability to complete root cause analysis.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting, automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hard wire and ladder logic controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to complete maintenance work effectively and efficiently in the facility.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance work (PMs, work orders, etc.).
• Oversee contractors/projects in conjunction with engineering team.
• Oversee and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure the right materials are available when needed and spending falls within budget.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability through strong preventative maintenance practices, SOPs, and training of maintenance technicians/operators.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a culture that aligns with our food quality and employee safety standards.

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and direct maintenance technicians in our Juneau facility (24/7 operation). The facility produces spray dried yeast used in the food and BioNutrient industries.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to complete maintenance work effectively and efficiently in the facility.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of relevant maintenance management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on maintenance, operations, or engineering experience. Ability to complete root cause analysis.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting, automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hard wire and ladder logic controls.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, communication, strategic thinking, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience using computer systems/maintenance software.
• Experience dealing with pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, ammonia, HVAC, or drying systems preferred.
