Maintenance Supervisor
Location: The Blvd at Anson - Whitestown, Indiana
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the property’s maintenance team to ensure timely and high-quality service.
- Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and property inspections.
- Ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are operating efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize and address maintenance requests and projects.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted work to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among your team.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to protect residents and property.
- Train, mentor, and develop your team to achieve their full potential.
- Ensure apartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents.
- Perform snow and ice removal.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required as needed.
Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Certified in HVAC/EPA and other relevant fields.
- 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Hands‑on experience in maintenance with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
- A natural leader who can inspire and guide a team to deliver their best work.
- Highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities while staying focused on the big picture.
- Problem‑solver who thrives on finding practical solutions to challenges.
- Takes pride in delivering excellent service and creating spaces residents are proud to call home.
- Familiar with maintenance/property management software and comfortable using technology to streamline processes.
- Flexible and ready to respond to after‑hours or weekend emergencies as needed.
