Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team at Park Trails – Columbus, OH. You will oversee all preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate with the Property Manager on requests, manage vendors, maintain tool inventories, and promote a safety-focused culture. Emergency after-hours support and weekend coverage are required as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification required or in process.
• Minimum 3 years in maintenance operations, preferably multifamily housing.
• Experience leading a maintenance team is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the property's maintenance team to deliver timely service.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and manage the property's maintenance team to ensure timely and high-quality service.

Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and property inspections.

Ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are operating efficiently and safely.

Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize and address maintenance requests and projects.

Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted work to ensure quality and timeliness.

Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among your team.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to protect residents and property.

Train, mentor, and develop your team to achieve their full potential.

Ensureapartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents.

Performsnow and ice removal.

Participatein an on-call rotation to respond to after-hoursmaintenance emergencies. Weekend work isrequiredas needed.

Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

You're certified in HVAC/EPA andother relevant fields.

You have 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.

You have hands-on experience in maintenance, with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.

You're a natural leader who can inspire and guide a team to deliver their best work.

You're highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities while staying focused on the big picture.

You're a problem-solver who thrives on finding practical solutions to challenges.

You're familiar with maintenance/property management software and comfortable using technology to streamline processes.
