We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Plant Operations to join our growing team of professionals at Benchmark Senior Living.

The Director of Plant Operations is primarily responsible for all maintenance and housekeeping functions within an assisted living facility. This role involves hands-on operational duties as well as administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs and alterations to buildings and equipment systems.
• Provide technical support, product information, research, and quality assurance guidance.
• Establish and monitor a preventative maintenance program to promote well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff.
• Maintain OSHA and fire code compliance.
• Perform other maintenance functions as required.
• Must be an experienced maintenance professional with a strong skill set.
• Previous maintenance and housekeeping management experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is required.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, with an emphasis on HVAC.

Requirements

• Understanding of applicable life safety regulations.
• Ability to successfully manage a maintenance and housekeeping department.
• Facilities management experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
