Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Leader for their consumable product manufacturing facility near Lynn MA. This person needs to have leadership experience and be capable of stepping into a Supervisor position. The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for performing and overseeing preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will not only bring technical strength but will also have prior leadership experience with the ability to guide junior technicians, interface with multiple departments, and contribute to long-term process improvement. An Associates / Bachelors Degree or Trade School Certifications are preferred. Food / Beverage / CPG Experience in required and candidates with experience utilizing CMMS & implementing Preventative & Corrective Maintenance is desired. This is a Day Shift position with a flexible schedule within a growing company with a solid, people centric culture.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance (preventative & corrective) on motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment, in accordance with manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues to minimize downtime.
• Utilize a CMMS to track maintenance spare parts & schedules
• Lead by example - Provide guidance or supervision to other maintenance team members.
• Coordinate with Operations leadership to schedule downtime and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Participate in facility upgrades and capital projects as part of the plant’s continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain documentation and communicate clearly across departments and shifts.
• Support training efforts and help develop maintenance SOPs and protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associates / Bachelors Degree or Trade School Certifications are preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in food / beverage / CPG manufacturing
• Prior leadership experience - Lead Tech, Shift Lead, or supervisor-level responsibilities)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experienced with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems and/or Plant Utilities
