Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will manage the daily operations and maintenance of equipment and facilities, oversee safety initiatives, and coordinate projects within the plant.
Shift:
6am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.
Compensation:
Estimated pay range: $84,400 - $103,100.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily activities of maintenance team and communicate with Plant Manager.
- Support operational departments by maintaining equipment and resolving mechanical issues.
- Foster a positive work environment focusing on personal development, training, and safety.
- Create, analyze, and assign maintenance work orders; follow up until completion.
- Plan and execute projects as assigned by the Plant Manager.
- Control inventories, order parts, and communicate with vendors to improve operations and reduce costs.
- Assist in scheduling maintenance tasks to ensure project completion.
- Maintain food safety and quality in support of SQF standards, ensuring a sanitary work environment.
- Support SQF audits through documentation and maintenance procedures.
- Serve as backup for maintenance technicians during absences.
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop maintenance staff.
- Develop and update maintenance policies and procedures.
- Review service agreements and recommend improvements.
- Implement and oversee preventative maintenance systems.
- Oversee and train contractors working on-site.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a plant or manufacturing setting; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Food or beverage industry experience preferred.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems; PLCs and ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors.

- Standing for at least 4 hours.
