Job summary

WMFHA in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and oversee all maintenance activities across facilities. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage work orders, and troubleshoot to keep machinery and systems running to meet production goals safely.

The role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical experience, PLC troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role.
  • Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical processes in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and health regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
  • Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide solutions for equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Manage repair, installation and maintenance of machinery, conveyors and the building.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • PLC troubleshooting.
  • Electrical troubleshooting, repair and install.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
