This role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership, supporting operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across all plant maintenance activities.**Responsibilities for Maintenance Supervisor:*** Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production and support equipment.* Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring proper training, performance management, and resource planning.* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, minimizing unplanned downtime and production disruptions.* Maintain and improve the facility’s mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to meet quality and production standards.* Oversee the use and accuracy of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).* Support managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.* Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.* Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and corporate safety policies and procedures.* Drive continuous improvement in equipment uptime, safety, energy efficiency, and reliability.**Qualifications*** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).* Minimum of 10 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication, Injection Molding, or similar industries.* At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role.* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, PLCs, Robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.* Experience using CMMS software; SAP knowledge is a plus.* Proven understanding of industrial safety practices and OSHA regulations.* Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.* Experience with MRO purchasing for replacement parts**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience in injection molding manufacturing or metal component production.* Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma certification.* Experience with equipment installations.**Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently throughout the shift.* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.* Capable of working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and moving machinery.* Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required.* Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate tools, inspect equipment, and use computer systems.* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and respirators when necessary.* Ability to respond to maintenance needs on-call or during off-hours in emergency situations.# Environmental Conditions:* Industrial/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.Vossloh Fastening Systems America Corporation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
