Job summary

Materion Leesport, PA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain industrial machinery through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance at our Leesport facility. You will perform pipefitting, welding, painting, plumbing, and electrical work, read blueprints, and work in the waste/water treatment area. A HS diploma and 3 years’ experience are required; must be able to work the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years applicable work experience or an equivalent combination of industrial maintenance experience and education.
• Able to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain machinery to ensure proper operation and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform basic pipefitting, welding, painting and plumbing work.
• Perform basic electrical functions including conduit runs and 3-phase motor connections.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, sketches, instruction manuals and work orders.
• Perform basic functions within the waste/water treatment facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate steel and sheet metal projects.
