Maintenance Supervisor - $100,000 to $125,000 + Quarterly Bonuses + 12% 401K

Location: near Corpus Christi, Texas

Our team is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support manufacturing lines in the coil processing, stamping, and tubing industry. The candidate will analyze current work processes and data to identify, establish, and improve performance to enhance KPIs, create and maintain preventive maintenance processes, evaluate and troubleshoot equipment, and execute capital improvement projects.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (Required)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process and KPI improvement
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Steel Service Center experience
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience (a plus)

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Strategic thinker with technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD
• Experience with high-frequency tube welding and steel coil slitting (a plus)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Effective project management skills
• Attention to detail
• Desire to work in manufacturing
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and cross-functional departments
• Leadership skills to supervise and mentor technicians and support staff
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems related to automation

Additional Responsibilities

• Work closely with technical teams, production supervisors, and staff to perform problem solving and root cause analysis
• Analyze capacity and resources to meet demand and define standards for labor utilization
• Recommend and lead methods to improve resource utilization and reduce waste
• Use data analysis and statistical methods for KPI tracking and improvement
• Set continuous improvement goals and develop action plans
• Design and implement data collection systems and processes as needed
• Analyze processes, workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data to boost productivity and efficiency
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and workflow enhancements
• Coordinate projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion
• Establish performance standards based on task time analysis
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics
