San Antonio North Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance. Our facilities provide outstanding care, foster strong employee bonds, and offer various care options and clinical services. Primary Purpose

The Maintenance Director ensures high-quality, clean resident care, supports staff, maintains the facility, and supports the community's reputation.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs (handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, emergency lighting, fire alarms, filters on HVAC, lifts, supplies).
• Manage tools and equipment.
• Operate garden, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, heating/cooling tools, and equipment like boilers, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioning units, etc.

Requirements

• Life Safety Certification
• Basic wiring, plumbing, carpentry knowledge
• Complete training and competency evaluation
• Orientation as per policy
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days
• Criminal background check clearance
• Proof of identity and employment eligibility within three days
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year maintenance experience
