Job Summary

Conagra Brands - Russellville is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Russellville, AR manufacturing plant on 1st shift. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will manage a team of Maintenance Technicians who support the production lines and equipment. You will also provide leadership expertise for the maintenance department and maintain the preventative maintenance system. You will help us work toward exceeding the plant safety and uptime goals while controlling maintenance expenses. Other primary responsibilities include leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement prioritization; technical coaching of mechanical craftsmen; and engineering support of maintenance and capital projects.

Position Responsibilities

  • You will lead workers engaged in maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
  • You will help us monitor downtime and efficiencies of the production lines, paying special attention for maintenance and mechanical trends - aiming for continuous improvement.
  • Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel.
  • You will train, motivate, evaluate, and direct employees to follow safe, quality work methods and standards.
  • Enforce the plant's safety program and maintain compliance to all OSHA safety regulations and standards.
  • Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.
  • You will help us evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to ensure optimum use of workforce and resources in maximizing equipment reliability.
  • You will ensure your team supports maintaining equipment for efficient operation within maintenance budget; within the constraint of the union contract and USDA regulations.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • At least 10 year's experience with manufacturing maintenance
  • At least five years of experience supervising Maintenance Teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs and knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
