Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Responsible for the first-line supervision of mechanics and electricians who maintain equipment within the production facility. Assists in establishing methods, controls, and standards for the execution of maintenance work while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace, and environment, and meeting all company, legal, and other requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Staff, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop team members.
  2. Maintain equipment to ensure line efficiencies, improve key performance indicators, and eliminate downtime.
  3. Service and repair equipment on a continual basis, adhering to established preventative maintenance schedules.
  4. Ensure that working conditions are safe at all times.
  5. Maintain a safe work environment by holding regular safety meetings to communicate safety awareness and policies.
  6. Manage within labor and OPEX budgets.
  7. Maintain an accurate parts inventory at all times.
  8. Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
  9. Create, plan, and execute preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  3. 2+ years of manufacturing equipment-related experience required.
  4. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  5. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environment and high-speed production equipment.
