Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with a degree in Maintenance Engineering and 8+ years of manufacturing experience to lead maintenance activities for its expanding division. The role requires passing a nationwide background check and drug screen, and may include a pre-employment DOT screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractor relationships and coordinate maintenance activities, supporting division expansion and development projects.
• Perform repair/preventative maintenance of equipment in a manufacturing environment and troubleshoot and repair electric, air, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Help set up new machines and implement upgrades to support the manufacturing process and maintain all plant electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanic drives and power transmission equipment and perform pump repair and pipe fitting as required.
• Work with General Manager and Project Managers to meet deadlines.

Your tasks

Your profile

• Degree in Maintenance Engineering or 8 plus years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in Manufacturing.
• Ability to pass nationwide background check and drug screen.
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
