Job summary

Insight Global in the Bronx, NY, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor (3rd shift) to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will develop teams, improve reliability, and drive operational excellence.

You will oversee preventive/predictive maintenance, coordinate resources, manage budgets, and ensure GMP compliance while fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of supervisory experience within industrial maintenance operations.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, safety initiatives, and operational performance metrics.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and support personnel during daily operations and emergency maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance resources to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Drive preventive maintenance execution and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to quickly resolve equipment and process issues.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and equipment troubleshooting efforts to identify and eliminate recurring failures.
• Manage employee performance, training, coaching, and career development.
• Assist with spare parts inventory management and critical spare component planning.
• Support budgeting, cost control initiatives, and maintenance performance metrics.
• Ensure quality standards, validation requirements, and engineering best practices are followed throughout operations.
