Job Opportunity: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our talented Maintenance team. This role oversees maintenance activities across multiple food manufacturing facilities, leading a team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operation of production equipment and infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementing preventative maintenance programs, maintaining GFSI standards, ensuring food safety and OSHA compliance, and supporting production goals through strategic planning and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily activities of maintenance technicians across facilities.
2. Provide hands-on support, mentorship, and technical guidance.
3. Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize tasks and ensure proper execution of maintenance schedules.
4. Promote a proactive maintenance culture, emphasizing safety, quality, and operational procedures.
5. Ensure timely troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
6. Conduct root cause analyses for breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
7. Maintain compliance with GFSI, OSHA, and GMP standards.
8. Perform routine inspections to identify hazards.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and safety.
10. Collaborate with operations, QA/QC, and sanitation teams to support production and minimize downtime.
11. Communicate maintenance plans and progress to stakeholders.
12. Support capital projects, upgrades, and new installations.
13. Maintain accurate maintenance and safety records.
14. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and instruments for diagnostics and repairs.
15. Support utility systems maintenance as needed.
16. Apply troubleshooting practices consistently and document findings.
