Job summary

Fairfield Newport Apartment Homes in Nashville is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a hands-on team across our Newport community, ensuring safety, beauty, and operational readiness.

You’ll manage maintenance, scheduling, and service requests with Yardi, uphold budgets and policies, and develop a diverse staff while delivering excellent resident service.

On-site living qualifies for a 100% apartment allowance; the role offers competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification.
• CPO certification strongly preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Three or more years of hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
• English literacy.
• A valid driver’s license.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred. Associates hired without a CPO certification will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Three or more years' hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Estimated Rate of Pay :

$28.05 - $36.47 This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*.

Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
