Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facility needs at the location. Provide maintenance support for all production cells to maximize up-time, minimize scrap, and drive continuous improvements and quality standards. Provide direct supervision of maintenance technicians and associated team members.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and execute maintenance systems, including preventive, predictive, reliability-centered maintenance, and computerized maintenance management systems.
2. Train, motivate, and support maintenance team members in work instructions and problem resolution.
3. Perform reliability support, investigations, and presentations with a focus on automation and robotic systems.
4. Develop partnerships with key suppliers for maintenance needs.
5. Lead workplace safety initiatives.
6. Coordinate with HR on employee-related issues, including hiring, training, and performance management.
7. Assist in developing budgets and forecasts.
8. Track and analyze key process information to optimize resource allocation.
9. Ensure effective communication across shifts and the entire plant.
10. Provide analysis and recommendations for equipment repair and maintenance projects.
11. Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams.
12. Support team efforts to meet overall cell goals.
13. Stay informed about Milwaukee Tool’s business trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
• At least ten years of maintenance experience, including two years in reliability within manufacturing.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of key maintenance systems.
• Ability to learn and apply METCO management tools.
