Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities
  • Supervising and leading maintenance staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning tasks to ensure timely completion of work
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
  • Inspecting facilities and equipment to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate repairs or upgrades
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes, maintaining a safe work environment
  • Managing budgets and resources, including ordering and tracking maintenance supplies, equipment, and contractor services
  • Coordinating with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement; vocational training, an associate's degree, or a bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or Engineering is preferred
