Job summary

Vibracoustic in Morganfield, KY is recruiting an Automation & Assembly Process Engineer for an on-site role. You will apply five-plus years of experience in automated automotive manufacturing, with hands-on PLC/ HMI management, robots, servo motion, sensors, safety circuits, and vision systems to optimize assembly lines.

You will lead equipment commissioning, supplier coordination, machine acceptance, and production launches, while reading electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and control diagrams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in automated automotive manufacturing or similar systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, robots, sensors, networks, and vision systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Controls Engineering.
• Five or more years of experience with automated automotive manufacturing or comparable industrial systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, industrial robots, servo motion, sensors, safety circuits, industrial networks, and vision systems.
• Experience with equipment commissioning, supplier management, machine acceptance, and production launches.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and controls documentation and lead multidisciplinary troubleshooting.
• Systems thinking and equipment integration.
• Structured troubleshooting under production pressure.
• Supplier and change-control management.
