Job summary

Brookside Properties seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to support our apartment communities in Middle Tennessee. Travel to Mt Juliet, Watertown, and McMinnville to perform hands‑on maintenance, unit turns, and safety‑compliant repairs.

You will mentor on‑site teams and ensure quality across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, with after‑hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Strong HVAC skills with EPA Type II or Universal certification required.
• Well‑rounded knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Availability for after‑hours calls and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall/painting, and more.
• Complete unit turns, exterior, and grounds maintenance.
• Travel to properties to provide hands‑on support and resolve complex maintenance issues.
• Guide and support on‑site teams while ensuring safety and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall/painting, and more
• Complete unit turns, exterior, and grounds maintenance
• Travel to properties to provide hands‑on support and resolve complex maintenance issues
• Guide and support on‑site teams while ensuring safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience (USDA housing experience preferred)
• Strong HVAC skills with EPA Type II or Universal certification required
• Well‑rounded knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pools a plus)
• Availability for after‑hours calls
• Reliable transportation and basic tools
• Strong communication skills with residents, staff, and vendors
