Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical operations of the hotel, including maintenance and repair of interior and exterior of buildings.
• Schedule employees to ensure proper coverage and communicate and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
• Train employees on safety issues to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Achieve the goals of the hotel's preventive maintenance program.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and working in high temperatures.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of experience in building maintenance, construction, supervisory roles, or an equivalent combination.
• Building trade licenses or certificates preferred.
• Two years apprenticeship or experience as a stationary engineer.
• Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish; computer literate.
