Plant Overview

The plant was built in 1993 with an addition in 1995, manufactures paper cups and cartons, and has approximately 350 employees.

Responsibilities

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

The Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership functions, train and develop individuals. Maintains repairs, installs and/or modifies various mechanical & electrical equipment associated with production lines, support equipment, buildings or facilities.

Job Description:

• Responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment.
• Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets safety and efficiency standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Oversees mechanics/technicians who repair and maintain equipment.
• Administers training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts.

Qualifications

• Strong communications skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to provide technical and management practice recommendations through formal and informal communication.
• Problem solving skills and ability to analyze various manufacturing, maintenance and mechanical related issues.
