3rd Shift Supervisor Maintenance Bilingual

This position supervises Leads and Mechanics in their daily activities. Responsibilities include repairing, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on all production equipment to ensure optimal operation. The role requires electrical and mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

• Develop and implement plans to achieve departmental goals.
• Conduct safety and sanitation audits; participate in safety, quality, and food safety committees.
• Train department employees as needed.
• Monitor work order system for safety, food safety, and operational tasks.
• Ensure equipment safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Keep employees informed about work assignments and opportunities for advancement.
• Maintain and improve the preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure all plant equipment is maintained per manufacturer recommendations and schedules.
• Suggest modifications to improve equipment performance, safety, or food safety.
• Train mechanics and production staff in troubleshooting and operation techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. At least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing required, preferably in bakery or food/beverage sectors. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience (or 4 years as a lead) in manufacturing required. Related education and experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read electrical diagrams; strong electrical skills.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and PLC programming.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical codes.
• Experience with regulatory inspections (AIB, BRC, OSHA, etc.).
• Mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Leadership and training skills.
• Ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
