Job description

Supervise a group of 10-15 maintenance technicians in a manufacturing facility that operates 24/7/365. Provide leadership to ensure safety and GMP policies are followed, and that work plans are executed effectively. Be an integral part of the maintenance team responsible for updating preventative maintenance programs and improving asset care plans for plant equipment.

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Prepare maintenance schedules aligned with organizational goals and monitor PM compliance.
• Inspect facilities regularly to detect potential issues and recommend repairs or maintenance.
• Support staff recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
• Oversee record-keeping practices and generate work orders using SAP, assigning tasks to qualified team members.
• Occasionally inspect the quality of maintenance work.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicate policies and updates to staff.
• Ensure all jobs are completed on time without compromising safety.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors.
• Manage materials and spare parts inventory.
• Contribute to developing maintenance procedures and proactive programs.
• Assist in developing the annual maintenance budget and recommend system upgrades or overhauls.
• Participate in projects like remodeling or rebuilds.
• Discuss staff challenges with senior management.
• Perform routine scheduled maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate with building occupants to resolve service requests.
