About The Maintenance Supervisor Position
We’re looking for a talented maintenance supervisor responsible for the daily maintenance operations and physical upkeep of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies and all regulations. The role includes financial responsibilities related to the property budget.
- Ensure daily maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
- Review and track service requests, identify chronic issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues, maintaining professionalism.
- Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds, etc.
- Conduct general carpentry and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain work order system accuracy and property safety standards.
- Inspect grounds and amenities regularly to identify maintenance needs.
- Manage emergencies and coordinate with the team.
- Promote safety and risk management practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
- Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and ensure timely unit turnover.
- Mentor maintenance team members.
- Maintain professionalism and appearance.
- Administer risk management programs and complete special projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate weekly with property leadership on operations.
- Manage maintenance costs within budget and contribute to future planning.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years in property management or related field.
- General maintenance and carpentry skills.
Skills And Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, auto insurance.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Familiar with office equipment and key tracking systems.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic math skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
