AAMCI-MANAGEMENT, INC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor I for a 40-unit Section 8 property in High Shoals, NC. The role runs M-F 8-5 with on-call every other week and a premium for on-call time. Pay is $26-$28 per hour, based on experience, with extensive training opportunities and benefits.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, safety management, and time management to maintain homes and build thriving communities for residents.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA Certified required.
• Adhere to work safety program.
• Capable of lifting, climbing, standing, bending, and outdoor work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on units and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and implement repairs.
• Assemble, install and repair wiring or electrical components.
• Assemble and repair plumbing components and equipment.
• Use hand tools and testing devices for diagnostics and repairs.
• Complete work orders and order parts as needed.

Maintenance Supervisor I

AAMCI is hiring a Lead Maintenance employee to join our team at a 40-unit Section 8, multi family property in High Shoals, North Carolina.

M-F 8-5, on call premium: on call every other week

$26-$28 per hour based on experience

The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive.

This position participates in on-call emergency for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out.

AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical problems
• Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components
• Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Complete work orders
• Order parts as necessary
• Recording type and cost of repair work

Qualifications necessary for success:

• HVAC/EPA Certified required
• Ability to adhere to work safety program
• Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
