A property management company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Groveland, Florida. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing inventory, and ensuring safety standards are upheld. As a key employee liaison between the client and KWPM services & internal support staff, the Maintenance Supervisor must perform the job duties with a professional and competent image. Service to the customer in a friendly and outgoing manner is essential, with a focus on timeliness and professional appearance.
The position is fundamental to the operational functions of the property and requires organizational skills, attention to detail, solid time management, and good interpersonal skills. Below are some fundamental responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises Maintenance, Housekeeping, Groundskeeping (porters), and Welcome Center departments.
Work Environment
While performing duties, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasionally, the employee encounters extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level can be loud.
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb. Frequently, the employee must lift or move items over 30 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours are determined by the property and may change to meet business needs.
Travel
Some travel for meetings and training may be required.
