Job summary

Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center in Florida is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the on-site maintenance program, including equipment and staff, with focus on safety and reliability. You will coordinate outside contractors, enforce building codes, and ensure timely repairs while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming care environment.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of properties and facilities maintenance experience required.
• Healthcare setting experience with skilled nursing facilities a plus.
• Experience supervising and managing maintenance staff a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the center's on-site maintenance program, including mechanical, electrical, and resident care equipment, and maintenance staff.
• Ensure employee performance meets expectations and conduct timely performance appraisals.
• Diagnose technical and mechanical problems and facilitate repairs.
• Maintenance and beautification of facility and grounds.
• Oversee safety program and preventative maintenance.
• In absence of a security officer, be responsible for protection and security of assets, personnel, residents and visitors.
• Coordinate and oversee activities of outside contractors and tradespeople.
• Apply building and safety codes to meet quality standards.
• Address residents' and staff concerns related to facilities and conditions.

Requirements:

• Makes prompt efforts to resolve all residents and staff concerns or grievances related to facilities and conditions under the incumbent's direction

Qualifications :

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of properties and facilities maintenance experience required
• Prior maintenance experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of skilled nursing facilities a plus.
• Prior experience supervising and managing maintenance staff a plus.
