Position Overview
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for guiding maintenance personnel, improving equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring production assets operate safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, and experience leading teams in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance team members.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities to support production goals and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related equipment issues.
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other departments to implement equipment and process improvements.
- Monitor maintenance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve plant performance.
- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory control, and work order management.
- Assist with equipment installations, facility upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
- Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving industrial equipment and facility systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, automation equipment, and industrial controls is preferred.
- Experience utilizing CMMS or other maintenance management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
