Job summary

DHL Group is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee FM services on a tactical and operational level. The role directs teams and service providers to achieve FM goals with a focus on technical scope across DHL properties worldwide.

You will manage budgets, ensure system functionality, and lead relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or related field.
• Strong oversight of building systems and technical services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems and provide high-quality technical services while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Oversee vendors and maintenance helpers, manage contracts through KPIs and SLAs, and collaborate with Finance on budget development.
• Identify technical savings initiatives, coordinate inspections to determine required technical services, and provide regular reports on operations and projects to enhance property value and efficiency.
• Administer environmental programs in partnership with the EH&S Manager. Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Management policies and Insurance requirements for vendors/contractors.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff.
• Operate the A/P invoice payment system to validate and approve costs associated with the technical aspects of the facilities.
• Respond to after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine the appropriate course of action to resolve issues.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness.

Job Purpose:
