Job summary

DHL CRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead FM services at a tactical and operational level, directing the team and service providers to achieve goals. The focus is on technical FM scope within a global network of properties.

You will oversee building systems, vendor contracts, budgets, and environmental programs, driving efficiency and value while maintaining compliance with policies and insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of facilities management experience.
• Experience coordinating building systems and technical services.
• Ability to manage vendors, KPIs and budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems and high‑quality technical services.
• Oversee vendors, manage contracts via KPIs and SLAs, and work with Finance on budgets.
• Identify savings opportunities, coordinate inspections, and report on operations and projects.
• Administer environmental programs with EH&S and ensure risk/insurance compliance.
• Develop relationships with internal/external customers and facilities staff.
• Manage AP payments for facilities-related costs and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Assist in planning and overseeing maintenance of properties and systems.

Job Purpose

Manage FM services in a tactical and operational level. Direct team and service providers in executing the FM tactical and operational goals. Main focus is on technical FM scope.

Your tasks

• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems and provide high-quality technical services while maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Oversee vendors and maintenance helpers, manage contracts through KPIs and SLAs, and collaborate with Finance on budget development.
• Identify technical savings initiatives, coordinate inspections to determine required technical services, and provide regular reports on operations and projects to enhance property value and efficiency.
• Administer environmental programs in partnership with the company's EH&S Manager. Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Management policies and Insurance requirements for vendors/contractors.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff.
• Operate the A/P invoice payment system to validate and approve costs associated with the technical aspects of the facilities.
• Respond to after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine the appropriate course of action to resolve issues.
• Responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness.
