Job description

Maintenance Supervisor

Will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance process. This candidate will demonstrate the ability to motivate people and be viewed as a clear and credible communicator.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe, clean, environmentally compliant work environment and build a culture where safety is a first priority.
  • Live the Safety stand, adhere to safety responsibilities.
  • Provide effective leadership and vision to plant personnel.
  • Engage employees and foster a work environment where employees feel pride and ownership in their work.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies, streamline processes, and leverage resources to reduce costs.
  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis on chronic maintenance issues.
  • Implement effective predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Develop solutions to improve reliability.
  • Respond promptly to unplanned downtime with attention to safety and detail.
  • Ensure schedule compliance for preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production Department to improve machine performance and employee efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing/maintenance supervisory experience.
  • TPM / Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to lead unionized hourly employees.
  • Ability to drive change and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
