Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – 2^nd shift

Location: Columbus, Ohio

An established family-owned ground beef manufacturing company with over 80 years of industry experience is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves assessing damaged and non-functional equipment, determining corrective actions, and delegating tasks to maintenance technicians.

Key Competencies:

1. Experience with plant equipment, including flat freezers, refrigeration, and electrical systems
2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement solutions swiftly
3. Proficiency in repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission components
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting
2. Previous maintenance experience in the food or meat industry preferred
3. Skills in plumbing, electrical work, welding, and refrigeration, including hydraulic and pneumatic controls
4. Training in HACCP, Lockout/Tagout, GMP, Safety, and Sanitation
5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
6. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
7. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
