Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct and coordinate the maintenance department in a long-term care facility.

You will oversee staff, schedule work, and ensure safe, reliable operation of all building systems, equipment, and grounds. Candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing systems, plus proficiency with MS Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old; able to lift 50 lbs.

• Direct and coordinate maintenance department activities, staff, and operations.
• Supervise maintenance staff in maintenance, servicing and operation of facility equipment, fixtures, grounds, and ensure building condition.

The Maintenance Supervisor directs and coordinates maintenance department activities, functions and staff in a long term care facility. Supervises staff in maintaining, servicing and operating all facility equipment, fixtures, grounds and ensures overall working condition and appearance of building grounds and facilities. Has a thorough knowledge of commercial building equipment, operations, can trouble shoot electric, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing infrastructure. Responsible for the day to day supervision, planning and organizing the work. Ability to provide detailed instructions and direction to staff both verbal and in writing. Can interpret and understand complex issues and problems. Ability to use computer systems and programs, MS Excel, Word etc. Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this positions and able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

Compensation Range

$28.37 - $30.72
