Job summary

Saber Health Group in Virginia is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in ensuring Life Safety Code compliance and keeping the skilled nursing facility in top condition. You will help manage the physical plant, equipment, grounds, and utilities, while following health and infection-control policies and the facility's procedures.

This full-time role offers daytime shifts (7:00a–4:00p) and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code compliance and facility standards.
• Maintain the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities in good working order.
• Follow community policies and state and federal regulations, health and infection control policies.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Days, 7:00a - 4:00p

• Wage: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
