Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH to lead maintenance technicians and ensure high resident satisfaction. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance across properties.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in apartment or property maintenance with leadership experience, strong budgeting knowledge, and proven vendor management skills. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation with proof of insurance required for travel to and from assigned property locations.
• 2 to 5 years of apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, or property management maintenance experience required.
• Previous experience supervising, training, and managing maintenance technicians.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of budgeting, purchase orders, inventory management, and maintenance software such as Entrata, Yardi, or similar property management systems.
• Strong experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and oversee maintenance technicians while ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, customer service, and team performance.
• Manage and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, roofing, flooring, doors, windows, lighting, irrigation systems, and other property assets.
• Coordinate resident service requests, make-ready activities, grounds maintenance, inventory control, shop organization, and property curb-appeal initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, budgets, purchase orders, and compliance documentation within property management software.
• Develop vendor relationships, obtain and review bids, oversee contractor work, monitor service agreements, and ensure all work meets company quality, safety, and operational standards.

• Ability to perform hands‑on maintenance repairs and respond to emergency service requests.


• Ability to participate in on‑call rotations and respond to after‑hours maintenance emergencies when required.
