Job summary

Rudeen Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems at our property. The role includes supervising technicians, planning maintenance schedules, and coordinating on-site training.

You will manage day-to-day operations, oversee budgets, and ensure safety and compliance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years of maintenance experience, strong problem solving, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of maintenance experience.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Proven management and supervisory skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department at their property.
• Supervise the Maintenance Technicians and/or Floaters on site.
• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
• Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems at their property.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• A part of the hiring process for Maintenance Technicians and will coordinate their on-site training.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff at their property.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for Maintenance Technicians working at their site.
• Handles discipline with the guidance of their Regional as needed and in accordance with company policies.

• Two years of maintenance experience.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Proven management and supervisory skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
• Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time.
