Job summary

The Budd Group in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an on-site Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities team and drive key maintenance activities.

You will oversee work orders, preventative maintenance, and MEP projects with a hands-on leadership approach. This role includes on-call weekend duties and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Previous supervisory experience, or a strong drive to step into a leadership role.
• Solid computer literacy (emails, Outlook, and cloud systems).
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred certifications: CFM, FMP, or related technical trades.

Responsibilities

• Drive core work orders and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot systems with your team to maintain safe, efficient facilities.

Location/Work Type: On-site. Unum Facility, Chattanooga, TN.

Schedule: Full-Time. Openings available on both 1st shift and 2nd shift (with shared on-call weekend rotation duties).

• Solid computer literacy (comfortable navigating emails, Outlook, and cloud systems).
• Excellent communication skills; being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus!
• Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Preferred: Current CFM, FMP, or specialized technical trade certifications.
