Job summary

Maloney Properties LLC in Boston is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations for a cooperative community with 150 apartments. You will work closely with the Property Manager and Multi-Site Facilities Manager to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for shareholders.

• Overseeing, scheduling, and performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Overseeing completion of work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Training and mentoring staff.
• Maintaining an elevated level of customer service for our residents.
• Working with contractors as needed.
• Maintaining inventory and working within a budget.
• Scheduling and supervising maintenance personnel.
• Ensuring the quality of work performed.
• Updating the Yardi mobile app and communicating with the team about the status of ongoing projects.

Working closely with the Property Manager and Multi-Site Facilities Manager, the selected candidate will ensure the property is well‑maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for all shareholders. The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing, scheduling, and performing in‑unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
• Overseeing completion of work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Training and mentoring staff.
• Maintaining an elevated level of customer service for our residents.

The work hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties shared on rotation (every third week).
