Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. This role involves both hands-on maintenance and leadership duties, including supervision of maintenance team members and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all buildings, grounds, and amenities
• Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently and professionally
• Oversee apartment make-readies and preventative maintenance schedules
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls
• Lead and train maintenance team members, ensuring high performance and quality service
• Maintain inventory levels and manage maintenance budget
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a multifamily housing environment
• Strong HVAC knowledge and current EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Proficient in all areas of apartment maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry
• Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
