ATI in Vandergrift, PA is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the plant's maintenance and reliability program in a 24/7 heavy manufacturing setting. You will direct all maintenance activities, drive a proactive reliability strategy, and lead a diverse team to optimize equipment performance.

The role requires strong leadership, lean manufacturing expertise, and proven ability to move maintenance from reactive to proactive execution while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required.
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership and project management experience.
• Strong reliability-centered maintenance and lean manufacturing background.
• Experience using CMMS and data to manage maintenance performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate maintenance activities in a 24/7 operating environment with focus on safety, productivity, quality, and reliability.
• Develop proactive reliability strategy including root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
• Build and develop maintenance and reliability teams with clear accountability and development plans.
• Lead planning, scheduling, outage preparation, contractor scopes, and resource loading using data to measure outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to policies, union contracts, and safety regulations; manage grievances with local representatives.
• Oversee safety investigations, case management, and training to ensure compliance.
• Train and orient employees on company policies and safety requirements.
