Job summary

First Realty Management in Hingham, MA seeks a full-time maintenance tech to manage electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and general upkeep across properties. You will respond to emergencies, prioritize repairs, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining tool inventories and site safety.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, strong communication with residents and staff, and ability to work a consistent 8-5 schedule with on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and general repair duties.
• Ability to respond to site emergencies and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and site software like Vantaca.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and corrective work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry systems.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call issues, prioritizing safety and resident service.
• Schedule and track work orders, and coordinate with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials; ensure site cleanliness.
• Communicate with staff and residents to address maintenance requests and updates.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal property maintenance as required.
• Keep accurate records and reports using company software and Outlook.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
