Job Description

The Maintenance Superintendent (MS) is responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs to company facilities and equipment. This work might include general repairs and projects in the areas of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, mechanical, carpentry, landscaping, painting, and metal fabrication. The MS is also responsible for maintaining all maintenance shop areas in a clean and orderly manner, including regular inventories of equipment, tools and supplies. The MS will serve as a primary point of contact for all contractors hired to perform repairs or maintenance on company facilities, ensuring they are performing tasks within their scope of work.

Requirements

  • Must have proven background in industrial repair/maintenance or a trade such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding or mechanics.
  • Ability to safely use a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Self-motivated and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
