Job summary

Techoundsllc is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee daily maintenance operations and supervise the maintenance staff in a manufacturing environment.

You will implement preventive maintenance programs, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance to support production efficiency and equipment longevity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and training maintenance staff in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong background in maintenance management and operations.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Hands-on repair skills with troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industrial standards.
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma practices is a plus.
• Experience with CAD and SAP is desirable.
• OSHA safety requirements knowledge is preferred.

Job description

The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee and manage the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring the proper functioning of plant equipment and facilities. The responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, implementing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating repair schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role requires ensuring timely and effective maintenance processes to support production efficiency and equipment longevity.

Qualifications

• Proven Supervisory Skills, including the ability to lead, manage, and train maintenance staff effectively.
• Strong expertise in Maintenance Management and experience in managing maintenance operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Plant Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure minimal downtime and consistent production efficiency.
• Hands‑on experience in Maintenance & Repair of industrial equipment and facilities, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industrial standards as related to maintenance processes.
• Maintain Engineering standards in accordance with the latest industry and legal requirements for plant operations and capital projects
• Develop innovative solutions to drive energy costs down
• Maintain a fleet of mobile equipment that include: Electric Pallet Jacks, Sit down forklifts, Sweeper, and Front End Loader
• Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• CAD and SAP enterprise software desired
• Previous management and supervisory experience required.
• OSHA safety requirements
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience desired
• Experience in the roofing or construction materials industry is a plus.

Education and/or experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is highly preferred
